Change of Referencing Style to APA 7th Edition

2026-01-07

We would like to inform you that the Journal has officially transitioned from the Vancouver referencing style to the APA (7th edition) style for all future submissions. This update aims to enhance clarity, consistency, and alignment with international standards in the social and behavioural sciences.

Effective immediately:

  • All manuscripts must follow APA (7th edition) for in-text citations and reference lists.

  • Submissions previously prepared in Vancouver style should be updated before resubmission.

  • The use of EndNote for citation management is now mandatory. Please submit your manuscript as a Word document with EndNote-formatted references, not plain text.

We appreciate your cooperation as we implement this improvement and look forward to receiving your submissions in accordance with the updated guidelines. https://jpsad.com/index.php/jpsad/about/submissions
